Users don’t engage with materials so they are convinced they know things but can’t even recite basics of the material.

Management-level Thinking
This has been true for many years (before AI) and I’ve often confronted it bec Managers who “think they know” often try to tell you how something works based upon nothing.
I can only imagine how bad this will get under AI. Oof.
“Independent thinking” is, of course, the enemy of all status quo organizations.
And all organizations are status quo bec there is always a manager who doesn’t want his cheese moved.
Well, I guess this clears up why everyone wants AI in everything.
